About Attorney Briana C. Robertson
The Inheritance Advocate
Creating confidence towards establishing, building, and maintaining wealth.
At the age of 12 Briana knew she wanted to be an attorney after watching Claire Huxtable from the Cosby Show. As time went on, Briana determined that she would become an attorney that made a difference in people’s lives. Since then, Briana has worked hard to make that dream a reality. In 2012, Briana graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with dual Bachelor Degrees in Justice Studies and African American Studies. She then went on to graduate from Howard University School of Law in 2015 with her Juris Doctor degree.

While pursuing her law degree, Briana worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Section as well as the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Briana also served as a Student Attorney in the Howard University School of Law’s Fair Housing Clinic, where she represented multiple clients in Housing Court.

Following Law School, Briana worked as an Assistant Solicitor General in the Richmond County Solicitor’s Office in Augusta, GA, and as an Assistant District Attorney in St. John the Baptist Parish District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted DUI’s, misdemeanors and felony cases. She also contracted with the East Baton Rouge Public Defenders office where she was the lead Public Defender for her section and defended those facing major felonies.

Briana is not only an experienced trial attorney but also experienced in handling business matters, probate cases, and wealth management matters. She has handled thousands of cases throughout her time practicing law. She likes to refer to herself as an advocate for the people as she takes a personable approach to representing her clients. In her free time, Briana enjoys spending time with her family, giving back to the community, and mentoring young girls.
